The DHB team has to forego another player in the sporting, meaningless last World Cup. Meanwhile, Juri Knorr is not back with the team.
In the last main round game at the World Cup against Tunisia (from 8.30 p.m. in the T-Online live ticker), the German national handball team must do without back room players Lukas Stutzke. As the DHB announced on Saturday, the 27-year-old as well as Rune Dahmke and Juri Knorr are missing due to an illness.
Dahmke and Knorr had already missed the second main round game against Italy last Thursday due to their illnesses. They were isolated in the team hotel so as not to infect any of their teammates. Now it has also caught Stutzke.
As the DHB continued, Spielmacher Knorr is currently not with the team, but is for treatment in Flensburg. The editorial network Germany already reported on Knorr’s preliminary departure on Friday. According to the report, Knorr is said to have complained about chest pain and breathing problems. Knorr only had bronchitis last December. According to DHB, Knorr should already be on the way of improvement.
