Four teams qualified for the final tournament of women in the DHB Cup. All four can be found in the top half of the Bundesliga. Only the top team of the Thuringian HC and the defending champions of the TuS Metzingen surprisingly missed the move into the “Final Four”which rises on March 1 and 2 in the arena in Stuttgart.

These teams have qualified: Bundesliga leader HB Ludwigsburg, Borussia Dortmund (3rd), HSG Blomberg-Lippe (4th) and the HSG Bensheim/Auerbach (6th). Who are the favorites?
Ludwigsburg is clearly in the favorite role. On the one hand, the HB is currently the league leader with seven points ahead of Thuringia and only has two loss points in 18 games. In addition, the HB Ludwigsburg is the champions of the past season: SG BBM Bietigheim moved to Ludwigsburg in the 24/25 season, whose best women’s team played in the district league.
In addition, Ludwigsburg and final 4 opponent Dortmund recently faced each other in the Bundesliga. The team from Baden-Württemberg celebrated a house-high 40:29 success after a demonstration of power.
