Year after year, the duels between FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund are one of the highlights of the season. Now the DFL has determined when the next game of the two major clubs will take place.
The traditional duel between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund receives its usual top game along. The German Football League (DFL) released the exact approaches for the Bundesliga match days 28 to 30 on Thursday.
The encounter between the two most successful German clubs of the past decades increases on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. and is broadcast live by Sky. As in previous years, the prestiget duel remains firmly anchored in Primetime on Saturday evening.
On April 4, Munichers have to open the 28th matchday with a Bavarian derby. At 8:30 p.m., the record champion will be a guest at FC Augsburg (live on DAZN). A day later, Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt face each other in the top game of the Saturday evening (Sky). In the afternoon of April 12 (3:30 p.m., Sky), the meeting of the two promoters Holstein Kiel and FC St. Pauli also takes place.
A week after the “classic”, Bayern Munich travels to the 1. FC Heidenheim. This game is scheduled for April 19 at 3:30 p.m. The top game of the 30th match day plays on the same evening (6:30 p.m., Sky) Union Berlin and VfB Stuttgart. Another highlight awaits fans on Easter Sunday (5:30 p.m., DAZN) when Borussia Dortmund and Borussia Mönchengladbach face each other.
Due to the Good Friday on April 18, the game in the Bundesliga and the 2nd league completely paused that day. Instead, three meetings on Easter Sunday (April 20) are moved on the 30th matchday of the Bundesliga and in the 2nd league. The next schedule of the games is planned for the twelfth calendar week (17th to 21st March).
