At the beginning of July, the DFB women around captain Giulia Gwinn will start the European Championship in Switzerland. Doping controllers now came by in the training camp.

The DFB women started their EM preparation with an unannounced stopover: On Saturday morning, inspectors from the National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) visited the team quarters in Herzogenaurach.

As the German Football Association announced, a total of eight national players were checked in the Adidas HomeGround. Both urine and partly blood tests were used.

Since Thursday evening, the team of national coach Christian Wück has been preparing for the tournament in Switzerland, which takes place from July 2 to 27. The first part of the training camp ends on June 24th. The second section of the course begins three days later before the trip starts to Zurich on June 30th.

In the EM Group C, the German selection meets Poland, Denmark and Sweden.
