A new contract for TV rights has been in effect in the cup since 2022. In the 2022/23 season, the DFB paid out more money to the clubs than ever before. This season the amounts will be slightly exceeded again by the semi-finals. The DFB has not yet announced the exact numbers for the final.

All participating clubs will receive at least 209,247 euros for the 1st main round. Anyone who has survived the first round will receive more than 400,000 euros in the second round, and the amounts per round continue to increase.

The clubs have to share the money from ticket sales and perimeter advertising after deducting all costs and taxes. Ten percent of this income also goes to the DFB, so each club receives 45 percent of this money.
