Dewulf and Vermeersch show themselves

Gianni Vermeersch belonged to a leading group of six in the Antwerp Port Epic, but had to bow to Florian Vermeersch in the final phase. He thus booked his first professional career. Thibau Nys was third, and Gerben Thijssen won the sprint of the chasing group for seventh place.

Stan Dewulf bit his teeth on Idar Andersen (UNO-X), and lost the sprint to the chasers of Jesus Herrada (Cofidis) in the Boucles de l’Aulne. Last year he won this competition in Brittany.
