Deutsche Börse shares firmer: Deutsche Börse will buy back shares from January

Deutsche Börse will start its share buyback program on January 2, 2024.

At the beginning of November, the DAX group decided on a buyback program with a volume of 300 million euros and announced that it would begin in the first quarter of 2024. According to the information, the buyback of up to 14 million shares should end by May 3, 2024 at the latest.

Deutsche Börse adjusted its capital management at the beginning of November. Accordingly, the aim in the future is to distribute 30 to 40 percent of the profit for the period attributable to shareholders as a dividend. Previously, the payout ratio was 40 to 60 percent of consolidated profits. Any remaining liquidity will be used to buy back shares.

The Deutsche Börse share temporarily rose by 0.46 percent to 184.90 euros via XETRA.
