The Füchse Berlin face achievable tasks in the group phase at the IHF Super Globe.

The Berliners meet Kuwait SC (Kuwait) and San Fernando HB (Argentina) in Group B. This was the result of the draw on Thursday in Basel. The tournament will take place from November 7th to 12th in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The trainer’s team Jaron Siewert received a wildcard for the Club World Cup this season as the winner of the European League.

Manager Bob Hanning appeared satisfied. “The draw gives us the chance to get to the semi-finals. We have already experienced twice how wonderful it is to win the title. We want to feel that feeling again at this year’s edition.”

A total of twelve teams take part in the Club World Championship. These include Champions League winners and defending champions SC Magdeburg, as well as the top European teams Barlinek Industria Kielce (CL final participants) from Poland and FC Barcelona (wildcard).

It is the Foxes’ fifth participation in the Super Globe. They were able to win this competition in 2015 and 2016.
