Go Tour 2024: Destination Sinnoh | All free Special Research tasks —

You’ll be able to complete this Special Research as often as you like once you’ve redeemed it, so be sure to access it after February 15, 2024, 10:00 AM local time. It’s a fairly short questline and some of its rewards can only be described as Niantic’s teasing of players, but you’ll also get a Legendary Pokémon during the Go Tour and a lot of Mega Energy.

Phase 1 of 3

Catch a Pokémon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region: Go Tour 2024 Sticker x10
Complete all tasks in this stage: XP x2,024, Stardust x2,024, Bidoof

Choose a route

At this stage you can choose between Diamond and Pearl. Both options provide different rewards during Go Tour 2024 and the remainder of this Special Research, so choose carefully.

Choose the Diamond version to get the following bonuses during the global portion of the Go Tour 2024:

  • Encounter Dialga (Original Forme) with Time Smash as a guaranteed move.
  • Doubling the duration of Timebreaker’s Adventure Effect.
  • Get additional Dialga candies.

Choose the Pearl version to get the following bonuses during the global portion of the Go Tour 2024:

  • Encounter with Palkia (Original Forme) with Space Fend as a guaranteed move.
  • Doubles the duration of Rift’s Adventure Effect.
  • Get additional Palkia candies.

Phase 2 of 3

We cannot advise you whether to choose Diamond or Pearl, because it totally depends on your personal preferences, whether it is the two Legendaries and perhaps which of the two mega evolutions you have yet to achieve.
