Despite leadership: FCK series breaks at 1860 Munich, football | 3rd League – SWR – Regional

FCK coach Marco Antwerpen compared his eleven to the 2-1 win against SC Verl to three positions. Muhammed Kiprit, Dominik Schad and Boris Tomiak started for Kenny Redondo, René Klingenburg and Philipp Hercher. The sick new signing Terrence Boyd had to pass again.

The game started with a bang. After a back pass that was too short, Mike Wunderlich let 1860 keeper Marco Hiller out and pushed in to give FCK an early lead (2nd minute). As a result, a fast-paced game developed, and the lions now dared to go on the offensive. The next big chance came from Kiprit, who was denied by Hiller. Wunderlich then fell in the penalty area and saw his fifth yellow card (15′). The midfielder is thus suspended for the away game at VfL Osnabrück.

FCK conceded compensation with a deflected shot

On the other side, Yannick Deichmann failed with a long-range shot at FCK keeper Matheo Raab. Shortly thereafter, the Munich team called for penalties. But referee Martin Petersen’s whistle was silent after Alexander Winkler’s duel against Marcel Bär.

Shortly afterwards, the hosts celebrated: 1860-Profi Bär deflected a shot from Merveille Biankadi into an untenable shot for FCK keeper Raab to equalize (26′). Munich remained the more active team until the break, but no more goals were scored.

Redondo and Herrcher come to the break

Antwerp reacted at the break and brought in two fresh players in Herrcher and Redondo (for Schad and Daniel Hanslik). The game remained intense, but the very high pace from the first round was a bit out of the game.

FCK stabilized in the second round and controlled the oncoming hosts. In the middle of the second period, the Red Devils regained possession of the ball, but without becoming a threat in the penalty area.

Late hit shocked the FCK

Substitute Kevin Goden turned the game in favor of Munich with his shot from close range (85th). With a free kick from the baseline, the FCK defense had completely lost its orientation. Hikmet Ciftci missed the chance to equalize and Hiller was able to defuse his shot in the final minute.

FCK still has 50 points after 28 games and is in second place. Eintracht Braunschweig has two points and one game less on the account in third place.
