The US footwear company Designer Brands Inc. has appointed Andrea O’Donnell as Brands President and Executive Vice President.
O’Donnell will take up her new position on January 29th and will be responsible for all of the group’s own and licensed brands, the company said. Your area of responsibility ranges from design and sourcing to wholesale and retail sales. The Designer Brands portfolio includes labels such as Keds, Vince Camuto, Topo Athletic, Hush Puppies, Le Tigre, Lucky Brand, Jessica Simpson, Kelly & Katie and Crown Vintage.
The experienced manager most recently led the clothing retailer Everlane as CEO since 2021. Before that, she was, among other things, President of Fashion Lifestyle at Deckers, responsible for the expansion of the shoe brands Ugg and Koolaburra. She spent further career stages at well-known companies such as DFS, John Lewis, Hackett London, Jaeger and Debenhams.
