Just hours after the release of their new song “Ghosts Again” on February 9th, Depeche Mode topped the YouTube music trend charts.

Four days later they are still at the top (status: February 13, 1:00 p.m.) and thus ahead of Linkin Park’s “Lost” and the rappers Olexesh, Capital Bra and Apache207, who is represented with “Komet” in collaboration with Udo Lindenberg. Until the release of Depeche Mode’s new single, the rapper and Lindenberg were at the forefront of the trend chartsalong with Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers,” which has also broken multiple records.

The band’s black-and-white music video has been clicked 4.1 million times (February 13, 1:00 p.m.). As is so often the case with Depeche Mode, it was directed by creative head Anton Corbijn.

The song is the first single from the new album “Memento Mori”. This is due to be released on March 24th.

This will be followed by a North American and European tour, during which Dave Gahan and Martin Gore will also make several stops in Germany: on May 26 in Leipzig, on June 4 and 6 in Düsseldorf, on June 20 in Munich, on June 29 in June and July 1st at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt am Main and most recently on July 7th and 9th at the Berlin Olympic Stadium. The advance ticket sale has already started.
