The “Memento Mori” tour continues for Depeche Mode and their fans: Today (January 22nd) Dave Gahan and Martin Gore performed at London’s O2 Arena. It was the first of 32 indoor performances in Europe.
When it comes to the setlist, the band stuck to the tried and tested – not much was changed for the first hall show compared to the concerts in December. So there were hits like “Wagging Tongue”, “Policy of Truth” and “Everything Counts” to be heard in the first third of the show:
A rarer treat, however, was an acoustic performance of “Strangelove,” for which Martin Gore took over the microphone – followed by “Heaven.”

Depeche Mode Tour: The next concerts
Depeche Mode will be touring throughout Europe until the beginning of April, making several stops in Germany. The finale of the world tour will finally take place on April 8th in Cologne.
