Depeche Mode join the long list of Italian and international guests of the 73rd edition of the Festival. Come on Black Eye Peas to the Maneskinsfrom Mahmood and Blanco to the Pooh with Riccardo Fogli. And then Albano and Massimo Ranieri who will perform in an exceptional trio together with Gianni Morandi. And, again, two greats of Italian music: Peppino Di Capri and Gino Paoli. He does not hide his emotion, Amadeus, in announcing the presence of the British band at the Festival. «I am very happy to be able to make this announcement, because I’m a big fan of this group and I never thought I’d know him personally» said the artistic director during the evening edition of Tg1. «I have broadcast their successes on the radio for many years and I will finally be able to have them on stage» he added, announcing Depeche Mode as international guests of Sanremo 2023. For the group it is a return to Ariston. In fact, they have already been there three times: in 1986, 1989 and 1990.
