Eraldo Poletto has only been CEO of the jeans specialist Diesel for six months. Now he seems to be giving up his position, as reported by WWD. He is due to return to the US, where he has lived with his family for several years, for personal reasons, a spokesman for the Italian brand told the magazine.
Poletto is to remain with the brand, which, like Jil Sander and Maison Margiela, belongs to the Italian fashion group OTB Group. Before assuming the role of CEO, he served as Diesel’s North America head. Prior to that, he held various leadership positions, including CEO at Stuart Weitzman, Salvatore Ferragamo and Furla.
A successor has not yet been announced.
