Depeche Mode’s Collector’s Edition series continues this summer: On June 10, the box set for “Exciter”, the band’s tenth album, will be released.

Eight maxi singles with remixes and acoustic versions

Included are eight maxi singles on vinyl of the songs “Dream On”, “I Feel Loved”, “Freelove” and “Goodnight Lovers”. There are also the corresponding B-sides, remixes, instrumental versions and acoustic versions of the songs. A cover version of the Stooges track “Dirt” will also be heard.

The album “Exciter” was released in 2001, and Depeche Mode also released three of the songs contained in the box set as CD singles. The artwork of the singles to be released should be based on the original design.

In addition to the music, the set will come with two posters. One is a reprint of the promotional poster for “Dream On” and the other is said to be a poster that was part of the “Goodnight Lovers” 12”.

The box set series continues

Depeche Mode discovered the “12” format early on and fully exploited the innovative possibilities it offered. For them, maxi singles offer the opportunity to “explore new sounds”. Therefore, since 2018, the band has been steadily releasing new box sets dedicated to previous albums by the synth rock group.

Pre-orders are already possible

Pre-orders of the set are currently available via the Band’s website possible, the official release date is June 10, 2022.

In December 2021 there was a collector’s edition of the live album “101” on Blu-ray and DVD. In the same year, Dave Gahan also released the current album “Imposter” together with the Soulsavers. With the announcement of the upcoming box set, Depeche Mode released the first new single releases for streaming last month.
