Germany’s captain Dennis Schröder has been voted into the all-star team for the European Basketball Championship.
The 29-year-old point guard was honored for his outstanding performance at the European Championships with a preliminary round in Cologne and the final round in Berlin.
According to the journalists present, the top five of the tournament also included Lorenzo Brown (Spain), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greece), Rudy Gobert (France) and Willy Hernangomez (Spain).
Hernangomez, from European champions Spain, was named the tournament’s most valuable player. He received the award from Germany’s basketball hero Dirk Nowitzki.
