Denim manufacturer Isko is planning a product development center in Stade

The Turkish denim producer Isko will open its first German “Creative Room” in the Hanseatic city of Stade. In the product development center, experts are to support fashion companies with sustainable washing and finishing techniques.

With the new location, the denim manufacturer is addressing its customers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and beyond. It should have local access to optimized and simplified solutions for denim products. “It will act as a central hub for the entire end-to-end production of denim apparel,” explains Isko in an email to FashionUnited.

The new denim hub opens on September 15th and aims to work with some of Germany’s biggest fashion brands and retailers. Isko has not yet revealed specific names.

“We are a global company but we also recognize the need to offer local support, our customers will benefit greatly from the expertise, knowledge and facilities,” shared the denim manufacturer.

In May, Isko opened its first product development center in London. As in Stade, the new center in the British capital is intended to help enable a more flexible and efficient manufacturing process. The site is also being used as a platform for educating and supporting the denim community, with plans to collaborate with local manufacturers and colleges.
