Demir wants to make the Flemish math test at the end of secondary school more difficult

The Flemish test at the end of secondary school planned for 2026 will be expanded with more difficult mathematics questions. In addition to general final objectives such as mental arithmetic and simple problems, specific final objectives are also tested. This concerns, for example, algebra, geometry and statistics. “Important, because this is not about small niche topics, but about the essence of different mathematics disciplines,” says Minister of Education Zuhal Demir (N-VA).
