Dow Jones-and Berlin’s delivery group Delivery Hero increases the provisions for legal risks retrospectively as of December 31, 2024 according to a court ruling in Italy. The higher expenses burden the adjusted EBITDA of the past financial year, which is significantly lower at 693 million euros than by Delivery Hero February on a preliminary basis with 750 million euros.

As the group listed in the MDAX, the provisions are increased by 183 million euros in the form of non -payable expenses in order to cover social security contributions, interest and fines that the Italian subsidiaries for the Italian subsidiary could request for the period from 2016 to the end of 2024.

This leads to a provision of 253 million euros for legal risks in connection with the authorization of the Glovo driver’s fleet in Italy, which is shown in the 2024 group.

The other business figures that Delivery Hero announced on February 13 on a provisional basis were confirmed. The forecast for the current financial year also remains unchanged. The group expects an adjusted EBITDA in a range of 975 million to 1.025 billion euros. The gross star value GMV is expected to increase by 8 to 10 percent, sales by 17 to 19 percent.
