A delivery person from an online shopping service got into quite a bit of trouble on Tuesday evening. On the Postelse Hoeflaan in Tilburg, he jammed the delivery cart under an awning. Firefighters had to come and pull it out again.

Something went wrong just before half past nine. When the delivery driver wanted to park at the apartment complex, he did not realize that his car was higher than the awning in front of the entrance. With all its consequences.

In an attempt to free the so-called e-worker himself, the delivery driver deflated the tires. When that didn’t work either, he called the fire department.

The fire truck managed to free the vehicle a little later with a special cable. However, both the top of the delivery truck and the awning were slightly damaged.
