Christof Kreutzer will remain as sports director of the Schwenninger Wild Wings from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) beyond the current season. However, the coaching position is to be filled for the coming season. The club announced this on Monday.
In addition to his work as sports director, the former DEL professional Kreutzer has also been responsible for the team as a coach since the dismissal of Niklas Sundblad in November 2021. A new coach for the next season is to be presented in the coming weeks.
Kreutzer convinced those responsible with “his attitude and his concept for the next few weeks and the future,” said managing director Christoph Sandner. The contract extension is “an important signal”. The club did not provide any information about the term.
