After the success of the last edition, capable of involving thousands of girls and boys between 12 and 14 years old, a new season of the Philadelphia Junior Cup – Keep Racism Out is ready to begin. The national youth 7-a-side football tournament, dedicated to the speakers of the cities of the 2025-26 Serie A teams, is renewed with an even more ambitious project that combines sport, training and social commitment, with the aim of promoting the values ​​of friendship, respect and inclusion among girls and boys. Last year the competition was close for over four months, until the final on May 14th at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, played before Milan-Bologna which awarded the Italian Cup. The triumph in the Philadelphia Junior Cup was the Don Guanella Oratory of Naples, which won a contribution for the redevelopment of its playing facility.

DEL PIERO, GRAVA AND LEDESMA

The kick-off of the 2025-26 edition was given right in the heart of Naples yesterday. Together with Philadelphia’s new ambassador, Alessandro Del Piero, the renovated pitch was officially unveiled and the new sports season inaugurated. The presentation took place in the Theater Hall of the Don Guanella Oratory in Naples, in the presence of the organizing team. Guests of the event, in addition to Del Piero, were Gianluca Grava and Cristian Ledesma who spoke with the kids about the importance of the themes (inclusion, friendship and teamwork) that will be addressed during this thirteenth edition.

FIVE THOUSAND GUYS

The Philadelphia Junior Cup – Keep Racism Out is a journey that will go far beyond the games. More than 5,000 boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 14 will be involved, who will have the opportunity to live unique experiences inside the stadiums and training centers of Serie A clubs and clubs, as well as being able to interact with professional figures and testimonials from the world of football. Also in this edition, the tournament will support the “Keep Racism Out” campaign, promoted by the Lega Calcio Serie A in collaboration with UNAR – National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – to combat racism and all forms of discrimination through education, participation and the unifying power of sport. The competition, which will involve speakers from 17 Italian cities, home to the Serie A teams, will be divided into territorial, regional and inter-regional phases from January to May 2026, until the final on 13 May 2026 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, before the Italian Cup final. The winning oratory will receive a contribution for the redevelopment of its gaming facility, thanks to the support of Philadelphia.
