DEL: Iserlohn with a double transfer

The Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) have strengthened themselves twice and signed both Kevin Reich and Emil Quaas. As the club announced on Wednesday, both players will switch from runners-up ERC Ingolstadt to Iserlohn for the coming season.

Goalkeeper Reich and defender Quaas were also active in the DEL for the reigning champions Red Bull Munich. Born in Iserlohn, Reich, who was able to shine in this year’s play-offs, especially in the semi-final series against Adler Mannheim, returns to his home country with the change.

“Not only because of his roots in Iserlohn, we can be sure that Kevin will burn for our club around the clock,” said Christian Hommel, sporting director of the Sauerland.

Quaas, who has played 200 DEL games in his career so far, is “excellently trained and also has the right attitude in terms of attitude to become an important component of our system”.
