Muktar Edris won the Dam tot Damloop in an impressive way. With a time of 44.51 minutes, he won the 38th edition of this running event between Amsterdam and Zaandam.

Not only does a double world champion run with men, that also applies to women. Hellen Obiri won the gold slice twice in the 5000 meters. She is the big favorite to win the Damloop on Sunday 21 September.
