FC Bayern apparently wants to sign top talent

The German record champions still want to upgrade the full-back position. A trail now leads to the Netherlands.
FC Bayern is apparently looking into signing Givairo Read. As the pay-TV broadcaster Sky reports, the 19-year-old right-back from Feyenoord Rotterdam is one of the desired solutions for Munich’s defensive wing.
Discussions are already underway, but according to the report there is also strong competition from the Premier League. We are talking about several clubs from the English top league who are also vying for Read.
Read is under contract with Feyenoord until 2029. Last season he appeared in 26 league games for his club, contributing two goals and setting up seven more. This season he is once again part of the regular team and has already scored one goal in the Europa League and two in the Eredivisie.
At the beginning of October, Read made his debut for the Dutch U21 national team. The Amsterdam-born defender led his country’s U19 team as captain to win the European Championship in the summer. Its market value is estimated at 20 million euros.
