A dead person was found this afternoon at the Zuiderkerksteeg in Enkhuizen. The police received a report at 4.30 pm and tried to resuscitate the person, but the help was to no avail.
The identity of the victim is not yet known, a police spokesman said. Forensic detectives are investigating.
