The death toll from yesterday’s shooting at a school in the Russian city of Izhevsk has risen to 17, including 11 children. This was announced by the authorities of the Republic of Udmurtia. A 34-year-old former student broke into the school and fired at students, teachers and guards. The man subsequently committed suicide, authorities said.
