Death toll after Russian rocket attacks rises to 14

The number of dead and injured after Russian rocket attacks on several Ukrainian cities has risen further to 14. This is reported by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in the night from Monday to Tuesday on Twitter. As far as is known, 97 people were injured. It is not known where the fourteen people died.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia carried out 84 airstrikes on Monday. Ukraine says it has intercepted 56 missiles and drones. According to the army, about 20 places in Ukraine have been affected by the attacks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin called the attacks a “revenge exercise” for Saturday’s attack on the Crimean Bridge. The attack on the bridge is said to be an act of terrorism, carried out by the Ukrainian special services.
