The death of journalist and media entrepreneur Derk Sauer has evoked many emotions in the Netherlands. The founder of The Moscow Times is described online as a ‘sweet man’, ‘fearless’ and ‘brave’. Thursday afternoon he died at the age of 72 from the effects of a sailing accident.
