Last year the oldest Chinese restaurant in Zoetermeer, Lin Wah finally closed its doors. The owner emptied the building and put the complete household effects on the street. But the last few weeks we regularly see people with mouth masks on and with brushes and pots of paint. The plate with the name of the restaurant just still hangs on the facade. What about that?

Chinese-Indian restaurant Lin Wah on the Eerste Stationsstraat was one of the oldest restaurants in Zoetermeer. For more than fifty years we were able to go there for Chinese dishes on his Dutch, such as Foeyonghai, Babi Pangang, spring rolls, chicken saté and much more.

Surprise!

Indebuurt Zoetermeer speaks an employee who is doing odd jobs outside in front of the building. He says that restaurant Lin Wah has been taken over by a new owner and will open again within a month. The restaurant gets a new interior and the menu remains about the same. The collection part on the side of the building comes back and people with an intolerance or allergy can still order dishes without Vetsin.

Keep an eye on the Zoetermeer indebuurt for the exact opening date and times of the renewed Lin Wah.
