At the end of the morning, someone was killed in a shooting at the Leenderbos in Hoofddorp. The police confirm that. His identity has not yet been released.
Police found the victim after a notification had arrived about a shooting in the street, near the Overbos sports club. Ambulance personnel took care of the victim, but could do nothing more.
NH Nieuws reporter Niels van Steijn is on site and sees that shots were fired in a parking lot at Overbos football club. “There are often gym classes there, but because of the snow they were canceled today.”

No suspect has yet been arrested. Police are searching for the gunman(s) on the ground and from the air. Burgernet is called upon to look out for two men in a Volkswagen Polo or Golf. One of the men is light-skinned and wears a cap, the other is around 20 to 30 years old and wears a black jacket from The North Face.
Anyone who has information or has witnessed it is requested to share it with the police.
