In a collision with two cyclists in Noord-Scharwoude, a dead person fell. The motorist drove on after the accident.
The accident happened this afternoon just after 5 pm on Tulpenstraat.
The police quickly arrested a suspect. Whether this has actually been the driver of the vehicle concerned is being investigated.
The second hit cyclist was injured and had to be transferred to the hospital. It is not known how this victim is doing.
