Someone was killed in two serious accidents shortly after each other on the A58 near Rucphen on Friday evening. Several people were also injured. The A58 is closed in both directions.
It is currently unclear what exactly happened. According to Rijkswaterstaat, two accidents happened one after the other. “We are trying to get a picture of the accident,” the police wrote on X. People who drove past and may have seen something are urged to report.
The emergency services are currently present en masse. The A58 is closed in both directions between Rucphen and Roosendaal-Oost. This is expected to remain the case for a longer period of time. Diversions have been set up.
