A serious accident happened this evening on the Oudestreek in Zevenhuizen, just across the provincial border. One person died.
Four others were injured and taken to hospital.
Two cars were involved in the accident early in the evening. One of the cars crashed into a tree and caught fire. The other car ended up on its side in the ditch.
How the accident happened is being investigated by the police.
