The German basketball players are still waiting for their first win in preparation for the European Championship.
After two defeats in the four-nation tournament in Turkey a week ago, the team of national coach Lisa Thomaidis in Tel Aviv also had to admit defeat to host Israel with 69:73. However, the selection of the German Basketball Federation improved and kept the game open until the end.
The German team already has the chance for quick revenge this Monday. At 6 p.m. both teams meet again. The European Championships in Slovenia will then begin on June 15th. Germany meets France, Slovenia and Great Britain in the preliminary round. The German women are back at a European Championship for the first time in twelve years.
