Now it’s official: this summer all 104 matches of the men’s World Cup will be broadcast live only on Dazn in Italy, marking a new chapter in the diffusion of great football in live streaming. “Having all the World Cup matches only on Dazn, in Italy, represents a historic achievement – says Stefano Azzi, CEO of Dazn Italia -. The 2026 edition, the first with a record number of 48 participating teams, inaugurates an exciting era for world football. We are proud to be able to fully tell this event to the Italian public, while continuing to invest in innovation, editorial quality and premium content”. Shay Segev, CEO of the Dazn Group, instead commented on the acquisition: “The agreement with FIFA to broadcast the most iconic football tournament in the world in Italy to the many football fans underlines the increasingly central role of Dazn as a reference partner for premium sport on a global level. We are thrilled that Dazn is the reference broadcaster for the entire tournament in Italy”.

Mexico-South Africa will be the match that will kick off the first edition of the 48-team World Cup, scheduled from 11 June to 19 July with matches to be played in Canada, Mexico and the United States. The knockout phase will begin on June 28, while the final is set for Sunday 19 July 2026 at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
