Even just saying Daytona is a bit like turning the key on the dashboard: it’s starting the engine. All over the world it is synonymous with engines that restart and races that restart. It is the return to racing, with all its liturgy, if only because Daytona is an event, the inaugural event of the season, that is, it is part of a championship which it could easily do without.
