To the French magazine Paris Match he says: “Since my fall I have had serious problemse amnesia. In addition, I haven’t tasted or smelled anything for three years, just like some Covid patients say they experience. According to neurologists, there is no hope left for the sense of smell– and taste come back, but I am very optimistic by nature and continue to believe in it. And I have always loved good food and cooking, so that is a real handicap.”
