Dave Grohl, Greg Kurstin and Judd Apatow Cover “Spinning Wheel” at “Hanukkah Sessions”

For the third year in a row, Dave Grohl celebrates the Jewish Festival of Lights Hanukkah with Greg Kurstin. The celebrations last eight days – during this time the musicians cover songs by Jewish musicians.

The session took place on December 5th in Los Angeles in front of a live audience. The first track Grohl and Kurstin played was “Spinnig Wheel” by Blood, Sweat and Tears. Director Judd Apatow, who also hosted the evening, took over the singing.

Also attending this year’s “Hanukkah Session” were Pink, singer-songwriter Irina George, Groll’s daughter Violet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O and Tencaious D.

A few days ago, Grohl also sang the Foo Fighters hit “My Hero” with Billie Eilish in honor of the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
