Dave Grohl and daughter Violet cover Nirvana together (video)

David Bowie’s pianist Mike Garson performed a concert of Bowie covers in Los Angeles on Saturday (November 11). Dave Grohl also appeared on two songs with his daughter Violet. The Foo Fighters frontman accompanied his daughter for a cover version of Nirvana’s song “Heart-Shaped Box” from 1993 – Grohl was there on drums. Later they both sang “Show Me How”, the track from the current Foo Fighters album BUT HERE WE ARE, together.

TV presenter, DJ and music manager Matthew Pinfield attended the show and then shared various clips of the father-daughter performance. He explained: “Violet is a wonderful singer like her father… super talented.” Check out the recordings here:
