Danny (55) and Laurence (54) have been stuck in Dubai for days: “If you see children crying in the lobby, there is no holiday”

“Waiting, waiting and waiting some more, hoping that we will finally get a message that we can leave.” The chaos surrounding the repatriation of Belgians from the Middle East continues. Although the first plane with 185 compatriots was expected to fly back from Oman on Saturday, many other Belgians remain in the dark. “I can hardly sleep anymore, for fear of missing a repatriation message,” say Danny (55) and Laurence (54) Devuyst from Ostend.
