WHO IS DANIEL GORDO?
Gordo, 43, started his coaching career at the age of 22 and worked for a long time in the youth teams of the Castile-Leon handball federation. He worked in Ademar Leon’s youth team since 2008 and then became the assistant coach of the A League team. Following the departure of Manolo Cadenas, Gordo took over as head coach of the traditional Spanish club in 2013. Gordo went abroad in 2016, where he took care of the development of young players in the Faroe Islands and also won the championship, the cup and the title of best coach with Torshavn.
