After his end in Gladbach, Daniel Farke found his luck again in England. Now the trainer has written history.

Leeds United is back in the Premier League – two game days before the end of the season, the direct rise for the team of the German coach Daniel Farke is perfect. This made it possible not only your own canteen victory, but also a mistake by a pursuer.

After the 1: 2 defeat by Sheffield United on Easter Monday at FC Burnley, it is clear: Leeds United is no longer mathematically displaced in the championship from the first two places that entitle you to climb. Burnley also secured the ticket for the Premier League prematurely with the success.

Even before Sheffield’s defeat, the Farke-Elf had set a clear exclamation mark with a 6-0 win against Stoke City. It had already been 5-0 at the break. Farke then praised the BBC: Such a strong idea was “really amazing”. Recognition is due to the players, especially for dealing with the situation and the fighting spirit shown in the past few weeks.

The former Gladbach coach took over the post in Leeds in the summer of 2023 after the club had relegated from the Premier League. In his first season, Farke with Leeds failed in the play-off final at FC Southampton-now he wrote history.

For the 48-year-old, it was the third promotion to the Premier League. In 2019 and 2021 he had already succeeded in this feat twice with Norwich City. Three ascents in England’s highest division had never succeeded in a German trainer before.
