Dakota Johnson may star in Madame Weba spin-off of Spider Man. Several American entertainment websites report that the actress is in talks with Sony. If Johnson gets the part, she’ll be the first female lead in Sony’s Spider-Man franchise.
In the comic books on which the Spider-Man movies are based, Madame Web a clairvoyant mutant who was a mentor to Spider-Man. The character has traditionally been depicted as being kept alive by a system similar to a spider’s web. It is not yet known what the character will look like in the films. The film will be directed by SJ Clarkson.
With Madame Web, Sony is expanding the Spider-Man spin-offs. appeared in 2021 Venom: Let There Be Carnagestarring Tom Hardy. The most recent film in the franchise, Spider Man: No Way Homehas now grossed more than $1.7 billion worldwide, a record in Sony’s history.
