Daft Punk have released a studio outtake version of Give Life Back To Music. After “The Writing of Fragments of Time” this is already the second single from the anniversary edition of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES.

The song was originally the opener for French band RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES’ fourth and final studio album, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in May 2023. To celebrate the anniversary of the Grammy-winning record, the originally defunct duo, consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalteran anniversary edition of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES.

On March 22nd “The Writing of Fragments of Time” was released as the first single for the upcoming reissue. On Thursday (April 20th) the “studio outtakes” edition of “Give Life Back To Music” was released on the popular streaming platforms. In addition to a six-minute version, a shortened “edit” version is also included. The unedited version is a demo of the later final product with orchestral elements, as well as classical piano and harpsichord.

The 10th anniversary reissue of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORIES is slated for release on May 12th and will include 35 minutes of outtakes and unreleased demos.
