In a police statement on September 10, it was said that Burke was informed about the incident and cooperates “completely with the authorities”, even though he is currently still on tour and is not planning to shorten it.

CROCs and Hollister, however, have taken out D4VD from their advertising campaigns for their products, as reported “Women’s Wear Daily”. Although there are no facts mentioned by the police for a direct involvement of the artist with the dead person, one does not want to decorate yourself in advertising circles with someone, whose name is at least a car approved in which a body was found.
“We are aware of this developing story. In view of the current situation, we removed the campaign content with D4VD, while the investigation continues,” said the brands in a joint statement.

D4VD is currently touring his current album with. In Germany, it will be on schedule on October 6th in Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne and on October 27th in Huxley’s New World in Berlin.
