The fight for leadership between the Czech Republic and Croatia in Group L of the World Cup Qualifiers ended in a goalless draw. Two teams that wanted to be at the top of the group faced each other at Fortuna Arena. The sides failed to shake the net in both halves of the match and settled for one point each.
With this result, both teams increased their points to 13, while Croatia maintained its leadership with goal difference.
