Cypress Hill announce their tenth studio album

American hip-hop band Cypress Hill have announced their tenth studio album, BACK IN BLACK. It is scheduled for release on March 18, 2022. A new single has already been released in sync with the announcement. Watch the video for the new single “Bye Bye” (feat. Dizzy Wright) here.

The three-piece band, consisting of the rappers B-Real, Sen Dog and percussionist Bobo, wants to return to their musical roots with this album. The rappers also want to create a connection to the previous album ELEPHANTS ON ACID. With their first single “Bye Bye” (feat. Dizzy Wright), the band unequivocally criticizes the existing political system.

“They try to blind us to the divisions created by politicians and the government. They’re trying to keep us quiet while they’re free to do whatever they want,” musician B-Real said.

Cypress Hill was founded in 1988. The rappers’ achievements include 18 million albums sold worldwide. The band stormed the charts several times and received gold and platinum awards in the US and UK. They continue to be considered the key pioneers of the global hip-hop scene.
