Two cyclists fell this afternoon after a collision on the cycle path of the Port Natalweg and Overcingellaan in Assen.
Bystanders came to the rescue and later several emergency services came to the scene of the accident. A trauma helicopter is also available to offer medical support.
Certainly a cyclist had to go to the hospital urgently.
The cycle path is closed with a ribbon.
